United States Air Force service[]
For a time, Pratman served in the United States Air Force and eventually received an honorable discharge.Also, he get divorced 3 times.
First season
During the first season,capitain dave was named one of the top ten pilots to watch. in Bernard's birthday he met nichole's mother, patricia (by lying that he was dating with nichole) but then he start date with her for a few episodes, then they broke up,because patricia is always working. But 2 weeks after they broke up(in the last episode), Dave decides to propose to patricia, even with all his friends telling him that is not a good idea.in the end he didin't proposed because he realised that he just wanted to be with her to not be alone and after that he found another girlfriend,that is collin's ex-wife

At some point before 2018, Dave met Ronnie Messing. After being named one of the top ten pilots to watch, Dave had trouble landing the plane. Ronnie helped him through this by reminding him of the pressure he had constantly been under and how he still performed his job as a pilot regardless of the pressure, leading to him safely landing the plane.
